My eyelids fall like the curtain at the end of a play
Petit poème de ma pomme (pfff et dire que je suis une orange sanguine-private joke, sorry) en anglais - ça laisse des traces le concours général.
My eyelids fall like the curtain at the end of a playBut to-morrow the stage will display
Another act or another day.
The role I used to know I want
But it washes past and I have to improvise
A witty word to fill in the blanks
World is too vast for words but words too heavy but for the paradize.
Words are missing, words are overwehlming.
My eyelids fall like the curtain at the end of a play
As performances go by, ends the season
Another play will be performed
To be word perfect you need to forget, what you have learnt,
What you have dreamt. No dress rehearsal, not a few.
Live and speak and wright
Till you can. For it words fail you
Understudy is ready, he is right
In the salls. The first row
Is just waiting for your final bow.
My eyelids fall like the curtain at the end of a play
I need to scrimp and save a glim of spotlight
For my time is nearly lapsed. The stage director ‘ll slay.
My mind tries to resist to the night
To no avail find a few more to ad : no point. The script is over.
So is the illusion. A few lines and comes the dead line.
My eyelids fall like a curtain at the end of the play.
It won’t open on a new day
In the world of dream I gonna stay,
Upon that little tent of gold
Which poets may name the realm of God.

Quand je serai vraiment calmée et que je ne risquerai plus d'exploser les touches de mon clavier, je vous expliquerai pourquoi je HAIS le code.
